Role: kitchen assistant
Hours: Mon to Fri 07:30am to 3:30pm
Rate: £11.44
Location: Junction 41 Wakefield
First Choice are actively recruiting for a kitchen assistant to join our reputable client based in Junction 41 Wakefield. Our client is the largest local authority/public sector buying organisation in the UK. The role holder will need to be self-motivated and organised and able to fully comply with all environmental health regulations and to work in a team to achieve this.
3 month temp (Chance to be on going)
For the role you will be able to demonstrate:
· Level 2 Health & Hygiene certificate
· Health safety and environmental rules and procedures
· Ability to work on own initiative
· Full knowledge of all aspects of catering – i.e. cooking, preparation, purchasing, health and hygiene regulations, portion control and costings.
· Previous experience of working in the food service industry at a similar level
· Cash handling
