Assistant Estimator

Due to expansion and growth our client is recruiting for an Assistant Estimator, who has previous experience ideally within Construction.It is an exciting time to join this successful and long standing business based in West Yorkshire.
Role requirements:
· Aid the team to tender documents, drawings and specifications to understand the scope of work and the client's requirements
· Review Employers Requirements/Scope
· Review Contract Requirements
· Logging Change Management Process
· Prepare accurate and competitive quotations and Contractors Proposals in line with the Scope
· Inputting, managing, and updating the quotation database and the CRM system
· Working closely with the sales team and the projects department to ensure customer satisfaction and project profitability
· Working closely with the subcontractor base to receive quotations and help bolster proposals
· Providing tender assistance to all contractors/clients throughout the tender stage
Person requirements:
Desirable
Experience in the main contracting or modular is a plus
Contract Review Experience
Essential
· Naturally analytical and problem-solving skills
· Excellent mathematical and technical abilities
· Attention to detail and accuracy
· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and
· Proficient in estimation software and tools
· Knowledge of structural steel frames, construction, and engineering principles
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
