First Choice are recruiting for a colleague for our successful Castleford client, to provide IT Support for the business.
Duties to include:
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripherals
Set up and manage user accounts and access rights
Respond to IT support tickets in a timely manner and resolve issues efficiently
Collaborate with team members to identify and implement solutions to improve IT systems and processes
Conduct regular maintenance tasks, such as system updates and backups
The candidate will require experience in the following key areas:
Virtualisation technologies (VMware / Hyper-V / Proxmox)
VoIP & cloud-based telephony technologies
Local and inter-site networking principles (switches / routers / firewalls / VLANs / subnetting)
Cloud based services (EG: Azure / M365)
Windows and Linux Desktop and Server, including Remote Desktop applications
Storage technologies (SAN) and database management (SQL / mySQL)
1st / 2nd line support, with 3rd line support experience
