Role: Finance Manager
Core Hours: Monday to Friday 09.00 – 16:00
Rate: £19 p/h

First Choice are actively recruiting a Finance Manager to join our reputable client based in Barnsley, S75. The role will be required to work Monday – Friday from the office. This is a small and friendly team who enjoy working hard and supporting each other.
Key accountabilities:
Process weekly payroll using Sage line 50 for onward submission to outsourced provider;
To oversee the purchase ledger function, ensuring all purchase ledgers are complete and closed;
To train and develop Finance Admin to ensure their work is accurate and within deadlines to enable the cover of annual leave;
To process payments via Bacs or by cheque;
To investigate unallocated cash and ensure a clean purchase ledger;
To respond to purchase ledger supplier queries and investigate the problem working with the Finance Admin to identify solutions;
To liaise with suppliers and customers and be the main point of contact to resolve queries
To undertake monthly balance sheet/bank reconciliations;
To prepare monthly management accounts in accordance with deadlines agreed;
To undertake daily cash allocation responsibility;
To undertake credit control and resolve customer queries, ensuring cash received in a timely and accurate manner;
To chase relevant paperwork;
To check and process staff expenses;
To agree payments schedules with the Management Accountant/Head of Finance;
To complete general admin duties, photocopying, posting supplier invoices, statements;
To undertake any other finance related work;
To provide finance support and information to managers;
To ensure all documents are prepared and delivered within the agreed timescale
Any other reasonable duty that may be assigned;
