First Choice are actively recruiting for a Outbound Calling Agent to join our reputable client based in Wakefield. Our client is the largest local authority/public sector buying organisation in the UK.
Key accountabilities:
Developing sales opportunities within the Public sector for education and Local Government establishments.
Handling outbound telesales calls to new and existing, lapsed and potential new customers.
Create and submit customer quotations.
Converting enquiries into sales with the ability to see every contact as an opportunity.
Assist in the development of the CRM customer database through everyday working while still achieving agreed targets.
Managing sales leads and opportunities from internal data.
Identifying viable sales opportunities, creating on-call sales and Sales Representatives appointments.
Acting as an internal support for the field sales team in conjunction with your everyday duties
Support Customer Contact Centre teams.
For the role you will be able to demonstrate:

Experience of working in a telesales environment.
Excellent telephone manner and communication skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to work alone and as part of a wider team.
Willing to learn all core aspects of the department to support flexible working.
Excellent ‘people’ skills, especially via the telephone and electronic media.
Ability to overcome objections to reach decision makers.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
