First Choice Recruitment are currently recruiting warehouse operatives on behalf of our client, a national food production manufacturer, for their facility in Ossett. This role requires a lot of physical work, including manual handling up to 25KG while working in a food hygiene environment.
Ideally candidates will have previous experience in a similar role and industry, including food production.
The role will include but not limited to:
Picking bulk items
Preparing food mixes from stores of herbs and spices
Weighing and measuring exact ingredients following specific recipes
Mixing recipes, ensuring all ingredients are correct
Bagging & packing finished mixes
Labeling and palletising bagged product
General housekeeping
General warehouse duties as required
Full training and food hygiene PPE will be provided.
This is a Temp to Perm position for the right candidates.
There are 3 shift patterns - all 12 hours shifts:
Dayshift - Wednesday to Friday plus every other Saturday - 6am to 6pm
Nightshift - Sunday to Wednesday - 6pm to 6am
Rotating - Monday & Tuesday Dayshift 6am to 6pm plus Thursday & Friday Nightshift 6pm to 6am
