First Choice Recruitment are actively recruiting an Accounts Assistant to join their client based in Barnsley. The successful candidate will be a confident user of Sage 50 and be able to work well in a team environment. The client is looking for someone to start as soon as possible.
The successful candidates duties will include:
- Accurately processing purchase invoices
- Ensuring all invoices are coded and match statements
- Covering payroll administration
- Covering annual leave
- Reconciling of Supplier statements
- Obtain receipts or other verification when accounts are paid
- Payment runs
- Investigating any discrepancies from supplier queries
- Filing invoices and statements
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
- Managing team inbox
- Raising Purchase Order Numbers as and when required
- Updating accounts on Sage Line 50
The successful candidate will have:
- Confident user of Sage Line 50
- End to end Purchase Ledger experience
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- A good team player
- Confident user of MS Office packages
