First Choice are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading food manufacturer, based in Sherburn in Elmet.
The Senior Telesales Officer role is Full-time, permanent and offers an excellent salary of £29,000 plus bonus.
This is a varied and exciting role and incorporates the following responsibilities:-
1. Work closely with the Telesales Manager to ensure the smooth running and organisation of the team daily.
2. Carry out daily team briefings communicating sales performance against target.
3. Proactively monitor sales orders placed by all members of staff for errors and low margins and giving additional training when required.
4. Responsibility for a portfolio of clients, ensuring that customers are contacted in line with the company’s CRM call schedule.
5. Actively take sales orders whilst upselling products to achieve sales targets and maximise margin.
6. Responsibility for processing sales orders in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring that the transport department obtains the correct data for order picking in line with the company’s route schedules.
7. Helping to build good customer relations and generate new sales leads.
Hours are Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.30pm
