HR Administration Assistant

We are looking for an experienced HR Assistant to provide a supporting role to the Group HR Manager, your main administrative duties will include maintaining HR records, managing HR documents (e.g. employment records) and updating internal databases, for one of the Group Divisions, ensuring everything you do is carried out to a consistently high standard.
Duties
This will include (but is not an exhaustive list)
Organising electronic and paper files
Ensuring company HR databases are up to date
Dealing with correspondence
Liaising with internal departments and external customers
Working collaboratively with payroll and training staff
Ensuring company procedures are kept up to date
Working as an effective support for the HR team
Dealing with queries and helping to resolve issues
Data entry onto the HR database so that colleagues records are up‐to‐date and accurate.
Use the inhouse database to pull off regular [relevant] reports for the Group HR Manager [eg : Sickness / Birthdays / Training etc]
Note / minute taking at HR related meetings
Coach and Mentor HR Apprentice
Administer and assist with the co‐ordination of various processes / tasks such as recruitment, new starters, leavers, DBS checks, ID badges, induction, probationary review periods, annual assessments, FCA compliance training, and any other processes or tasks which need to be maintained in a timely fashion.
Ensure that all records and HR data are dealt with in a timely and accurate way.
Carry out new starter inductions
Skills & Abilities
CIPD Level 3 HR qualified (or HR equivalent) and held for a minimum of 2 years
Previous experience of working in a Human Resources Department for a minimum of 2 years is essential
Good communication skills
Ability to deal sensitively with confidential information
Ability to communicate well with various levels, both verbally and written; in sometimes challenging situations
A working knowledge of employment law, government regulations, and HR best practices
Professional approach to HR
Able to work to tight deadlines

Working Hours : Mon to Fri 9.00 am - 5.00 pm (37.5 hours per week) although extra hours may be required at busy times.
Salary : £18,000.00 p.a. to £20,000.00 p.a. [dependent on qualifications, skills and experience]
