Working Hours:
• 7am - 3pm OR 8am-4pm OR 10am-6pm
The role will be on a rota basis (5 over 7 days).
Duties include:
• Accurately weighing vehicles entering and leaving the site
• Ensuring correct paperwork is completed for incoming and outgoing loads
• Checking compliance of loads according to local operating procedures
• Ensure tickets are processed in compliance with the performance framework
• Complete basic tonnage reconciliations for waste leaving and entering sites
• Report running on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
• Producing financial and tonnage reports for internal and external use
• Ad hoc administration duties including ticket photocopying
• Maintaining the traffic management system and to ensure the safe operation of the site
• Ensuring that customers and the site remain compliant with legislation
• Ensuring vehicle turnaround times are adhered to or report delays
• Communicating with site staff at all levels
• Delivering excellent customer service at all times
• Following and enforcing site rules at all times
• Ensure tickets are processed in compliance with the performance framework
• Able to work across other sites when needed
• Other day to day duties as required by the Weighbridge & Data Supervisor
• The role will be primarily based out of WF9, however occasional travel to Wakefield and Castleford will be required so own transport is a necessity.
The Person:
The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role, pay excellent attention to detail and have good Excel skills.
Payrates:
• £9.00 per hour (all breaks paid) for the first 12 weeks.
• £10.62 per hour (all breaks paid) after 12 weeks.
• £12.23 per hour upon successful completion of training and only when agreed by the client.
