Here at first choice, we are currently recruiting for a samples technician to work for our ever growing major food manufacturing client based in Ossett, WF3.
Working hours:
Monday – Friday 08:30 – 17:00
Pay:
£10.77ph
Job Description:
- The efficient preparation and dispatch of dry mix samples in line with customer and business requirements
- To accurately weigh and mix recipe formulations to ensure that customers receive representative and consistent samples
- Ensure all samples are ready for daily courier collections and all necessary documentation is completed
- Maintain raw material stocks and ensure documentation completed to ensure full traceability of ingredients within the department
- Develop a positive working relationship with all internal and external stakeholders
- Undertake all relevant departmental administration
- Upkeep of the samples department to ensure a clean, tidy and organised workplace
- This role will involve lifting weights of up to 25Kg
What we want from you:
- High degree of adaptability and resourcefulness
- Ability to work reliably, accurately and safely against strict time deadlines
- A confident self-motivator with excellent time management and communication skills
- Formal qualifications are not required however, a keen interest in food is essential
- Computer literacy essential
