First Choice are recruiting on behalf of their Leeds based client, an Estimator to join their ever-growing, exhibition stand and shop-fitting project teams.
Responsibilities:
- Review project specifications and drawings to determine the scope of work
- Collaborate with project managers and designers to develop accurate cost estimates
- Analyse labour, material, and equipment costs to prepare detailed estimates
- Identify potential cost-saving opportunities
- Prepare and submit bid proposals to clients within specified deadlines
- Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits as required
- Maintain accurate records of estimates, bids, and related documentation
Experience:
- Proven experience as an Estimator
- Strong knowledge of joinery methods, materials, and costs
- Proficient in reading and interpreting drawings and technical drawings
- Excellent mathematical skills for accurate cost calculations
- Familiarity with estimating software and tools
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
