Accounts Payable Assistant
£9.00-£11.00 per hour

First Choice Recruitment are actively recruiting for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join their reputable client in the Ossett area of Wakefield. This role is a temporary position and will be based onsite at my clients location. The ideal candidate for this role is an experienced and knowledgeable Accounts Payable professional.
Joining the business, you will be expected to hit the ground running, being able to begin processing purchase orders and invoices. You will be using your confident communication skills to approach a wide range of external stakeholders, regarding invoice queries, investigations and producing invoices.
Be comfortable and proficient at checking, coding and batching invoices in a hasty manner.
Ability to accurately input data, ensuring all invoices are correctly processing onto the system
Have excellent attention to detail to ensure P.O numbers match invoices
Be a confident communicator over the phone, as you will be required to deal with queries.
Have proficient knowledge of MS Office and Accounts
Be a self-motivated and passionate Purchase Ledger Clerk
Ensure all records are updated and filed correctly.
The ideal candidate will have
Experience with Purchase Ledger
Experience in dealing with Purchase Orders
Ideally experience of large company with high volume of invoices
A confident communicator
Ability to work well in a team
Be available immediately to commit to a temporary assignment
