Purchase Administrator

We are looking to recruit a Purchase Administrator to work in a small busy office on the Shortwood Business Park in Barnsley.

6 weeks temporary role leading to a permanent placement.

Barnsley Own transport would be beneficial due to the location.
Office hours a 8:30am–4:00pm with 30 minutes for lunch Starting salary £20k 25 days holiday Free parking

Duties will include, but not limited to:

• Batching and Processing Purchase Invoices
- Utilizing in-house software and systems
- Recording information on Excel spreadsheets
• Batching and Processing Sales Invoices
- Utilizing Sage software
- Recording information on Excel spreadsheets
- Uploading data to in-house system
- Uploading customer invoices to various platforms
• Stationery ordering
• Data input
• Keeping filing up to date
• Organizing Banking
• Telephone answering
• Dealing with customer queries
• Liaising with Head Office for supplier payment queries
• Other normal office duties

Person requirements and attributes:
• Attention to details
• Excellent inputting skills
• Accuracy
• Great communication skills
• Able to work to agreed standards
• Minimum 5 GCSE’s including Maths and English.
