Office Manager and Assistant to Directors

We are currently looking for an Office Manager to join a prestigious Utilities company in LS27

This would be an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Office Manager and or Personal Assistant to join a company that offers exceptional progression opportunities and benefits.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Overseeing a current team of 4 office staff
• HR – Contracts – holidays – appraisals – absence
• Providing diary management, travel and support to the Directors
• Basic book keeping on Sage One – purchase ledger – sales ledger
• Managing and co-ordinating projects as they arise in the various business areas
• Responsible for compliance co-ordination e.g. qualifications & licencing – Van servicing
• Putting together and adapting tenders
• Implementing new standards and procedures
• Help manage the integration of new systems into the business
• Ensuring Health and Safety is being adhered to
• Executing plans designed to meet companies goals by changing policies and coaching employees
• Managing the day to day operations and reporting back to the Director
• Oversee the delivery of the office management by the Management and Office Team

Skills and Experience Required

• Strong IT skills – Microsoft Office – CRM Systems – Sage - Outlook
• Experience within utilities/servicing would be desirable but not essential
• Must be an experienced Office Manager and or Personal Assistant
• Experience of managing diaries and booking travel/accommodation
• Experience working towards compliance procedures and coordination
• Professional and able to provide an exceptional service
• Able to work under pressure and in a fast paced environment
• Experienced in following up on actions agreed
A confident communicator and able to build and maintain strong working relationships
