Customer Service Advisor

Our client, based in Wakefield, are looking for Customer Service Advisors to join their team

The Role:

Take telephone calls promptly and efficiently to ascertain customers’ requirements, to deliver a high level of customer services
Provide website support to customers by answering customer queries regarding how to use our website
Expedite customers’ orders and liaise with transport to provide accurate forecasts for delivery of goods
Reply to all electronic communications within agreed SLA’s to deliver a high level of customer service
Communicate with relevant department regarding urgent requests to meet customer needs
Process, analyse & clear nine reports such as re-subs, Food brought backs, Food collections, Warning report etc. within set timescales. To ensure customers’ orders are dealt with correctly and to avoid duplication of work across various functions, incurring unnecessary cost to the business. This may involve calling customers to gain further information or provide an update
Track & take ownership for outstanding customer queries and ensure customers are kept informed
Capture customer data using CRM for reporting, measurement and generating sales leads. This must be done straight after calls, within wrap time.
To work co-operatively with colleagues to ensure that the function operates consistently and effectively in the implementation and application of all departmental procedures and policies.
To keep up to date with information, training and development opportunities appropriate to maintaining and developing professional service standards. Ensuring that services are delivered in line with relevant legislation, company objectives and policies including those relating to Equality & Diversity, Customer Care and Health and Safety
To undertake such other duties as may be required from time to time that reasonably fall within the scope and grade of the post
Ensure correct customer identification process is followed in line with Data Protection Act

The Candidate will:

Have customer service experience
GSCE Maths & English
Ability to work under pressure, multi task and take corrective action
Be a team player
