Donor Relations Advisor – Bengali Speaker
Our client, based in Wakefield City Centre, are looking for Bengali speaking Donor Relations Advisors.

Role Profile

To work as part of a multi-functional team, receiving telephone enquiries across our fast paced Support Centre. To respond professionally to the needs of our donors and supporters by providing and efficient, effective and excellent customer service.
Specific responsibilities and accountabilities:
• To deliver a world class service to all our customers
• ·Handling customer inquiries both by telephone and email
• Making effective outbound calls for a running campaign.
• Maintaining our Support Centre database by entering or updating information
• Building and maintaining long term relationships with call our customers
• To maintain service knowledge ensuring that information provided to customers is accurate, up to date and delivered in a consistent format.
• Supporting and responding to Live Appeals
• Working with other departments to deliver an effective and efficient response to inquiries
• To undertake other relevant activities as directed by the Head of the Support Centre or Team Leaders, subject to the needs of the service
Essential Criteria
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Acute attention to detail
• Able to work to deadlines with effective time management skills
• Great interpersonal skills – phone, email and face-to-face
• Proactive, organised and willing to take on responsibility
• Excellent multi-tasking skills.
• Displays high energy and able to motivate self
• Have a positive, can-do and resilient attitude.
• Self-motivated with an ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Results-orientated with a strong sense of pace and urgency to ensure work is completed in the expected timelines at high levels of quality
• Able to work calmly and collaboratively across teams in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
• Excellent knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications
• Have a positive, can-do and resilient attitude
• Willingness and ability to travel and work unsociable hours, including evenings and weekends as the role demands.
• Must be able to speak Bengali

Desirable Criteria
· Experience of working within a Call Centre or customer service Industry
· Bilingual
