Marketing & Admin Officer

Marketing Assistant – (6 month’s contract – possible permanent contract for the right person)
£18K - £20K per annum
40 hrs Monday to Friday

£18 - £20K Free Parking


• To be responsible for the Marketing and Promotion of products and services and those of their clients.
• To assist the team to promote and market the organisation effectively.
• To support the delivery of projects and activities by providing administrative support.


Marketing & Promotion:

• To update content on the company website on a weekly basis
• Deliver e-marketing initiatives
• Develop, promote and manage the website and social media channels.
• Develop, maintain and update content on the website daily.
• Increase the number of visitors to the website
• Increase the number of businesses registering and interacting with the website
• Produce promotional material such as flyers, brochures, newsletters and E-News bulletins on a regular basis.
• Assist in the delivery of events and seminars, including drafting invitations, taking reservations, promotion and other event related tasks,

Administration Support:

• Ensure the delivery of projects and core company activities by providing administrative support and to: -
• Provide general administrative support including word processing, spreadsheets, filing, photocopying and general office duties.
• Maintaining office services by organising office operations and procedures; maintaining databases and an efficient filing system.
• Provide a prompt response to general enquiries from colleagues and external sources.
• Inputting client information into project databases
• Preparation for meetings and serving of refreshments to visitors.
• Taking notes/minutes at meetings
• Assist in reviewing and responding to entries in the CCTV Control Room Log Books
• Assist in preparation of staff work schedules (Staff Rotas)
• The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the organisation and the overall business objectives of the organisation.


• Must be a literate, numerate, articulate, enthusiastic and a client focussed individual
• Relevant IT qualification/ECDL/CMS/Social Media
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
• A working knowledge of design software such as Corel Draw is desirable
• Creative writing skills and a keen eye for detail
• Excellent communication skills and be able to speak, read and write in English.


• Ideally Marketing, Digital Marketing or Social Media with relevant marketing and promotional experience ideally gained in a Business to Business environment or professional services.
• Project delivery and office administration.


• Full driving licence and use of a car.


• May be required outside office hours from time to time
