Sales Order Administrator

Our client, based in Liversedge, are looking for a Sales Order Administrator to join their expanding team.

Sales Office Administrator

8.30am – 5.00pm Monday to Friday 1hr for lunch

Main responsibilities and activities:

Check invoices every morning for correct prices/carriage and customer’s information is correct

Liaising with despatch department re deliveries and any delays

Liaising with accounts department re payments and any account issues

Input orders on to IMIS as soon as received

Arrange and liaise with production Manager on all requirements

Regular contact with customers:

Quoting prices for stock items

Quoting for export/UK carriage costs

Updates on deliveries/PODs

Raise sample orders

Raise purchase orders

Raising invoice as only when required

Raise Pro-forma invoices and email customer, copying accounts in

Arrange returns notes

Arrange credit notes when required

Email monthly credit report

Checking and signing off transport invoices

Update production reports.

Liaise with Managing Director on production requests.

Organise sample requests through sample Dept.

Liaise with Sales Administrator on all information given to customers regarding their order, from quotation to on site requests.


Microsoft – Word, Excel, excellent general PC skills

Full training on internal system will be provided

Good organisation skills

Confidence to deal with various department supervisors

Accurate communication of information to and from customers to production is essential with time pressures being always present.
