Role: Transport Planning Clerk

Hours: Monday – Friday 8am – 4:30pm (1 hour break)

Rate: £26k -£28k

Location: Ossett

Start Date: ASAP

First Choice Recruitment are actively recruiting for a Transport Planning Administrator to join their reputable client in the Ossett area of Wakefield. This role is a temporary position for approx. 3 months and will be based onsite at our client’s location. The ideal candidate for this role will be an experienced and knowledgeable Administrator and Customer Service professional with some Transport knowledge.

Key accountabilities:

· Raising POs

· Scheduling loads (UK) on systems

· Updating database (own fleet)

· Booking deliveries with customer

· Liaising with our main sub-contractor on daily load plan

· Basic route planning

For the role of Transport Planning Clerk you will be able to demonstrate:

· Previous transport experience is desirable

· Good communication and customer service skills

· Solid IT skills with the ability to learn IT systems quickly

· Well organised and logical

· Accurate administration and data inputting

  • Be available immediately to commit to a temporary assignment
