Role: Purchase Ledger Clerk

Hours: Full time Monday to Friday (8am – 4pm or 9am – 5pm)

Pay rate: £10.00 - £11.00

Location: Ossett WF5

Temporary role

First Choice Recruitment are actively recruiting an immediately available, temporary, Purchase Ledger Clerk to join the team on a temporary basis. The opportunity is based in WF5 and the successful candidate to be based at their Covid safe offices.

Your duties will include:

  • Raising and inputting invoices
  • Query all discrepancies and solve any relevant problems
  • Coding and verifying invoices
  • Matching and batching invoices
  • Dealing with queries
  • Maintain expenditure records

You must have purchase ledger experience to be considered for this role with the following attributes:

  • Sage 50 experience
  • Experience of working within a high volume, fast paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Must be friendly and approachable.
  • Have the ability to prioritise workloads, work to deadlines.
  • Manage time efficiently.
  • You must have strong numerical skills, and a high degree of accuracy with data.
