Payroll Assistant – Part Time



3-4 Month Temp Contract – Immediate Start

08.30am – 5pm Monday to Wednesday - Part Time – 24hrs pw

First Choice are recruiting on behalf of our client who is one of the leading UK designers and manufacturers modular buildings.They are looking for a capable individual to support the Payroll Manager in delivering a payroll collation service to the site

Duties Include:

  • Process and track new starter and leaver information/paperwork and update the payroll system on an ongoing basis, ensuring data updates are accurate and consistent with agreed protocols.

  • Assist with preparing payroll hours – checking each timesheet submission and check variable pay elements (overtime, sickness, commission payments etc.)

  • Monitor the Payroll ‘inbox’ answer first line enquires from Managers and Employees, working closely with HR when required.

Experience Required:

  • Previous payroll experience preferred

  • Previous use and knowledge of Sage 50 Payroll or similar

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Strong IT skills with experience of extracting and manipulating data from Payroll systems, and fluent with, Excel, Word and Outlook.
