The Role:
First Choice Recruitment are looking to recruit on behalf of our client - a leading IT solutions provider who are looking for a dedicated and ambitious person to join their existing team.
We are looking for advisors with at least 3 years current experience as a 2nd Line support Technician.
The Role:
Taking 2nd line calls – Handling escalated issues
Liaising professionally with clients
Diagnose technical issues over the phone, via email or live chat and remotely
Update customers on the status of their query
Help to test software
Create help and support articles
Familiar with Windows Operating systems. Windows 10
Familiar with Server 2012/2016
Understanding of networks
Understanding of common technologies i.e. Active Directory, DHCP services, DNS Services, File Server, Databases, Powershell etc.
The Person:
Excellent communication skills as you will be speaking to clients and advising them in a professional and timely manner
Reliable.
Must own a car
Must be able to work on own at times and also be a keen team member.
Motivation to complete the job in hand is key to this role.
Must be smart in appearance as they will need to visit clients at times.
Ambitious with a drive to increase their skill set and also desire to move up the technology ladder.
