Digital Media Communications Manager

Rotherham

£30 - £35 DOE

First Choice Recruitment are recruiting for a Digital Media Communications Manager for our client based in Rotherham. It's an exciting time for them as they revitalise their brands and undergo a digital transformation. The transformation programme will see them evolve their strategy, channels, and media platforms, expanding our reach through inspirational content and encouraging people from all walks of life to embrace a healthy recreational outdoor lifestyle. We call these people Outdoor Athletes.

Role Overview:

  • We are looking for a Digital Media Manager with creativity, enthusiasm and proven Experience in activating and integrating social & influencer marketing activity as part of their drive to establish an integrated digital media platform.

  • With direct impact on their organisational mission, this Role will take their existing sponsored athletes, events and social strategy programmes and align them, bringing them closer together and establishing more effective ways to engage with new and existing customers.

Principal Objective:

  • Build and Engage their Community, Extend the Product Reach, Enhance the Reputation.

Strategy:

Build an integrated media platform centred upon events and outdoor athlete lifestyle.

  • Engage with current and potential customers, motivate them and enhance their reputation and influence

What we expect from the person

This Role requires a motivational person with a strong work ethic who is self-motivated and enthusiastic.

  • A natural networker capable of building beneficial relationships with our internal team, clubs, athletes and governing bodies.

  • An experienced interviewer, using the camera to create engaging social content.

  • You will have a passion for sporting activities and a natural affinity with existing and aspiring outdoor athletes.

  • A passionate self-starter with high energy levels, keen to impress and willing to work hard to get the job done.

  • Enthusiastic about the opportunity and be bursting with new ideas that you will want to roll out.

  • Able to distil complex information into understandable messages for mass audiences.

  • Balance creative thinking to bring new and innovative ideas alongside strong analytical skills to ensure that we continue to monitor, evaluate, and optimise the activity's impact.

  • Skilled in delivering data and insight to assess and evaluate the impact of social campaigns.

  • Ideally have a keen interest in outdoor sports
